Companions

The Companions of Knellwood are volunteers, run by a committee, who raise funds for the residents of Knellwood. We are completely independent of the Home but work closely with the mangement.

Events

We hold several events throughout the year which are all held in either the home or its grounds. They are normally:

Easter Bazaar
Band Concert
Open Day & Fete
Oddfellows Concert
Christmas Fayre

Fund Raising

Over the years we have provided a variety of items for the home, ranging from a television for the lounge to specialised beds.

If you would like to become a Companion, all we ask for is a small donation each year, the amount of which is entirely at your discretion.

Better still, we are always looking for new committee members to join us. If you don’t think you have anything to offer – you do!
