Life at Knellwood
At Knellwood, we very much believe in a holistic approach to care. In simple terms, this means giving our residents a care experience which makes them look forward to each new day, to encourage them to get involved, and make new friends. They have a say in and make choices on how their home is run.
Trips are organised throughout the year and families are welcome to join us. It’s a great way to continue to build memories. In recent years, we have visited Brooklands, the Milestones Museum, Bird world, the Watercress Line and enjoyed boat trips on the canal.

Our rooms are priced according to their size, facilities and location within the Home. Our fees are available on request.
All accommodation, food, drink and laundry are included, as are all aspects of care which we are registered to deliver. Incoming calls to the residents’ rooms and wifi to communal areas are also free of charge. The weekly physiotherapy sessions are included, as is all the in-house entertainment, accompanied medical visits by taxi and personalised medical needs. Residents’ visitors are always welcome to refreshments and meals by arrangement.
Newspapers, hairdressing, manicures, chiropody, dry cleaning and personal toiletries are not included in the fees, nor are major outings such as boat trips or visits to the theatre and outgoing telephone calls from residents’ rooms.
We are pleased to confirm that Knellwood Care Home is open to visitors 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Visiting is encouraged, and we aim to be as flexible as possible to support residents’ emotional well-being and family connections, and we adhere to Regulation 9a requirements. - A hairdresser, chiropodist and physiotherapist visit regularly
- All our meals are freshly prepared and cooked on the premises, and are fully included in the fees.
